Bertin Technologies structures its Energie 3D portfolio to help businesses and regions achieve energy autonomy

Backed by Bertin’s expertise in the field of decentralized energy systems relying on renewable energy solutions, Bertin Energie Environnement supports its customers in their “positive energy” campaigns.

Bertin Technologies, a company in the CNIM Group, has announced the restructuring of its Energie 3D offering under the Bertin Energie Environnement (BEE) brand name.

Under the management of Germain Gouranton, an expert in renewable energy solutions and decentralized energy models, BEE offers services in the fields of expertise, design and project management for the creation of decentralized energy systems based on renewable energy solutions for the benefit of businesses and regional authorities seeking to boost their energy autonomy. Germain Gouranton, Director of Bertin Energie Environnement says :

BEE’s Energie 3D portfolio provides Carbon-Free, Decentralized, Digitized energy.

He adds :

With this new offering, we aim to meet the needs of industrial firms, grid managers and local authorities that are committed to the energy transition and want to develop their own decentralized energy production systems. Our goal is to become European leader in this field by 2021.

Building on the experience of Bertin Technologies’ energy and environment department, which has been developing renewable energy-focused technological innovations for more than 40 years, the BEE portfolio caters to all its customers’ needs, from the design to the creation of turnkey solutions responding to energy performance, decentralized energy and smart energy challenges.

Whatever the project, Bertin Energie Environnement recommends and implements the ideal solution for its specific circumstances, guaranteeing that the customer is supplied with a reliable, competitive energy solution with a foreseeable production level, completely independently of energy companies. Together with its partners, the BEE team ensures that the projects it designs are undertaken on a shared risk basis.

The carbon-free, decentralized, digitized energy challenges tackled by Bertin Energie Environnement include the design and construction of micro-grids. In this context, BEE provides assistance services for developers and project owners.

All over the world, the use of renewable energies is fast developing for decentralized applications providing total or partial self-sufficiency with regard to national power grids, such as in the case of island territories, industrial firms affected by power grid failures and districts focused on consuming self-produced electricity.

Germain Gouranton explains :

For projects of this type, it is essential – from the outset – to make the right technological choices optimizing the use of energy sources and locally-available flexibility levers in order to reap the economic benefits of renewable energy, while completing that resource when it isn’t available.
