Treatment and recovery of waste

CNIM participates to the United Nations’ expert group on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution

As a member of the expert group of the Task Force of the Techno-Economic Issues (TFTEI) of the United Nations (UN-ECE) on Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP) , Christophe CORD’HOMME will participate to the 6th TFTEI Annual Meeting on October, 21-23, 2020, which  will be held in a virtual meeting instead of Warsaw Poland.

This year, the program of the different  sessions will cover some of the current TFTEI activities such as technologies for particulates and black carbon abatement, maritime traffic emissions  or methane emissions from waste…

With the CNIM group expertise, he will contribute on 2 of these topics during his session :

  • Part 1. Performances of Best Available Techniques for the removal of dust, TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Carbon) and POP (Persistent Organic Pollutants) in BREF (BAT Reference document) waste incineration .
  • Part 2. deSOx & deNOx technologies experience in maritime industry
