CNIM releases its first Integrated Report

CNIM is pleased to release its very first integrated report. This document takes a new approach compared to our traditional annual activity report.

Based on the recommendations issued by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), our integrated report sets out our business activity, our performances and our results with the aim of optimizing its transparency and readability. In contrast with the self-centered vision sometimes conveyed by businesses’ corporate communication, the integrated report includes both financial and extra-financial data in answer to the following questions:

“What would the world be like if I wasn’t there? How do I contribute to the planet and society?”

Our goals in publishing this first integrated report are to:

• foster better understanding of the CNIM Group, its strategy and its actions in its environment and in the long term,
• describe its role in society, the contribution it makes to the world and its “added value” in all its fields,
• explain the action its takes and how it operates with all its internal and external stakeholders.

We also want to draw attention to the fact that, since 1856, CNIM has been tackling the major long-term challenges facing our societies of today and that the solutions developed and implemented by our 2,500 employees herald a cleaner, more energy-efficient, more environmentally friendly and safer world.
