ISWA Annual Congress from 7 to 10 October 2019 in Bilbao (Spain)

After Novi Sad, Baltimore and Kuala Lumpur, the ISWA International Waste Congress is back in Europe in Bilbao. With more than 1,200 participants announced, experts from all over the world will meet to discuss all the issues related to waste treatment during the world's largest event on this subject.
Christophe Cord'homme, Director of Development at CNIM Environnement & Energie, Vice-Chairman of ISWA's Energy Recovery Working Group and member of its International Scientific and Technical Committee, will speak:

  • Tuesday 8 October during the session "Last resort for resources" from 14h00 to 16h00 on the theme "Practical implications of the new BREF in the European WtE industry".
  • Wednesday, October 9 during the session "Non-recyclable waste: environmental problem or source of energy" from 9am to 10h30 on the theme "One stop shop for EfW plants".

A technical visit to the Zabalgarbi waste-to-energy and electricity production plant, in which CNIM participated extensively for its construction, is being organized on Wednesday afternoon, October 9.
