LAB at “Mediterranean Air Day / Ports: Informing to act” – 14 November 2017 – Marseille

LAB, a CNIM subsidiary, is taking part in the “Mediterranean Air Day / Ports” event organized by AirPACA and Qualitair Corse on November 14th in Marseille.

The development of port activities impacts air quality. This raises a great many questions in the media, and among members of the public and players in maritime transport. The event on November 14th will be an opportunity to report on current knowledge on air quality and existing solutions as well as to mobilize all stakeholders.

Backed by more than 60 years’ experience in flue gas treatment, LAB has designed and installed nearly 500 gas scrubbers.

For several years now, LAB has been offering its solutions to control pollutant exhaust emissions from marine diesel engines.

LAB’s first marine exhaust cleaning installation, dating back to 1961, was a ground-breaking development designed to reduce dust emissions on the SS France ocean liner.

With dozens of patents registered, a portfolio of processes fully complying with European Best Available Techniques (BAT) standards, and many years’ experience in the construction and operation of SOx and NOx treatment installations for various industries, LAB provides innovative solutions, under its DeepBlueLAB brand, tailored to the needs of shipowners and shipyards.
